Can I make one giant stone instead of 4 smaller stones using the Enchanted Garden Stones kit?

You can make one large stone. Combine all of the bags of magic stone mix. Working with 2 cups of water, slowly add water until the mix is well moistened. The stone mix should have the consistency of a "mud-pie" not too runny, not too crumbly.

Can I eat or drink from the pieces in my Mini Tea Set and Mini Tea Time Tableware kits?

Although the materials used in this kit are all Non-Toxic, this kit was developed as a make believe/pretend or decorative item. If you are going to paint the pieces, it is not recommended to have them come in contact with food or drink.

What is the baking time and temperature for my Mini Tea Set?

Once the set has been painted, let it dry for at least 24 hours. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place the set on the sheet and place it in a cold oven. Bake for 30 minute at 250 degrees. After the 30 minutes are up, turn the oven off and allow the oven to cool. Once the oven has cooled, remove and let stand for about 20 minutes before touching the set.

Can I use the transparent plastic sheet that is in my Wild & Wonderful Window Art kit again?

Once your design has dried for 24 hours, gently peel the design off of the plastic sheet.  You are then able to use the sheet again.

How do I remove a tattoo from my Color In Tattoos kit?

The tattoos are removable by washing with soap and water. Sometimes soaking is necessary.  Baby lotion or rubbing alcohol may also be used. On most tattoo transfers, if you place a piece of tape firmly over the tattoo and peel it off, it usually works very well. You may want to avoid this removal technique if the tattoo is on a hairy surface of the skin.

How can I get all of the tiles to fit into my Mosaic Tile Tray?

The project may be completed by removing one or two tiles.  Move the tiles around and experiment with different arrangements. Once you have found the fit that works for you, use the special mosaic medium to glue the tiles in place. If there are large gaps between the tiles, carefully use the mosaic medium as grout to fill in the gaps.  You will have extra tiles to use for other projects. Maybe make a pin or a magnet with extra items found in the house.

Do I bake the utensils that are included in my Mini Tea Time Tableware kit?

Allow up to 5 days for the utensils to air dry. Do not bake the utensils included.

The paint is a specially formulated that is also curable by air drying.

Is there any preparation that needs to be done before painting my piggy from the Piggy Bank and Allowance Bank kits?

To prepare the piggy remove the plastic stopper from piggy's belly. If left in, it will melt during the baking process.

The molding compound from my Crazy Casting kit is wet and lumpy should it be this way?

The molding compound should be of a wet, lumpy (mud pie) consistency after mixed. Note: This kit has been discontinued and is no longer available.

After I applied the magic mosaic liquid to my Mosaic Fames and Boxes, the surface was lumpy.  Should this happen?

Yes, the mosaic liquid is thick craft glue that dries clear and with dimension giving the finished project a stained glass look. Note: This kit has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Can I use my Menorah from my Create Your Own Menorah kit every year?

If you choose to display and light candles each holiday season, make sure that all of the pieces are used and are in tact prior to adding candles and lighting them.  Make sure the copper pieces to hold the candles are used. The menorah should never be left unattended when lit.  Adult supervision is suggested. Note: This kit has been discontinued and is no longer available.

My Wild Wonderful Window Art kit is missing the acetate sheets, what do I do?

The sheets are clear and may be difficult to see. They are packaged with the paints. Open the clear packaging and you should find your sheets inside with your paints.

Why is there an extra item in my Creativity Kit with no instruction on what to do with it?

All of our Creativity Kits include a surprise gift inside.  We hope you enjoy it!

What size light bulb does the Groovy Ceramic Lamp kit use?

The kit comes with a 15 watt bulb.  When replacing, use only a 15 watt replacement bulb. 

After I baked my Groovy Girls Shrinkalicious Charms, they were not flat.  Should they be?

Some of the charms will lay completely flat after they are baked, others my curl or curve a little. This does make each piece of jewelry unique. All of the charms are usable.  You can also compare your jewelry with your friends.  How Groovy!

My Funky Fab Door Curtain does not cover the entire door way.  Is my kit missing pieces?

Depending on the size of your door, the beads may not completely cover the doorway. You can space the strands and the track a bit farther apart if this happens. You can also decorate your window, creating your own Funky Fab window treatment.

Can I leave my Enchanted Garden Stones outside all year in rain and snow?

Like any garden keepsake, it is recommended to store your stones in a dry, safe place in harsh weather. Protecting the stones from extreme elements will prolong the life of your keepsake.

The glitter glue will not come out of the tube in my kit.  How do I use it?

Some of our glitter glue tubes come with an air tight plug under the tip to prevent the glitter glue from drying out.  If you experience difficulty getting the glue to come out by gently squeezing the tube, twist off the tip and remove the plug.  Twist the tip back on the tube and gently squeeze the tube to advance the glitter glue.

What are the dimensions of the Chair Art kit?

Assembled, the chair measures 18 ¾" high from top to bottom, 11" wide and 11" deep.

What are the dimensions of the Build a Bird Bath kit?

Assembled, the bird bath measures 8 ½" tall and 9 ¾" wide.

The light-up pen in my Dream Journal kit is not working.  How do I use it?

Twist off the purple/blue top that has the clip. Remove the white plastic piece from the tube, be careful not to lose the spring.  Remove the paper or tape that is located on the top of the batteries.  Return the white plastic piece making sure the spring is touching the batteries.  Twist the purple/blue top with the clip back on.  Click the top to advance the refill and click again to light up the pen.  Note: The three button cell batteries should all have the + sign on the top.
