(Cleveland, OH) Faber-Castell USA announces three new staff appointments. Diane Ward has joined the company as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department. In this position, she will be responsible for all procurement activities for the Creativity for Kids and Faber-Castell children’s art supplies brands. Ward has a Master’s degree in Business Adminstration and most recently worked at Symrise, Inc.
Amy Nilsen, previously a Buyer at the company for 4 years, has been appointed to the new position of Key Account Coordinator, Children’s Brands in the Sales & Marketing Department. Nilsen’s primary responsibilities in this role involve contributing to the development and execution of sales and marketing programs for major national accounts, conducting marketing research, forecasting, and merchandising.
Furthermore, to give increased attention to quality control with the enactment of the 2008 CPSIA, Faber-Castell USA is expanding its Quality Control/Regulatory Compliance Department with the addition of Mary Bangert as a new Quality Control Inspector. With over 10 years of quality control and inventory management experience, Bangert will focus on assuring testing standards are met for products manufactured for the toy industry.
