Who comes up with new Creativity for Kids products at Faber-Castell?
Our Product Development and Graphic Art teams are definitely an inspirational, unique and creative group of individuals! In addition to being teachers and artists, some of our developers and graphic artists are parents and grandparents themselves. Their individualism, involvement with children and their passion for art bring a unique energy to not only the Creativity for Kids Brand but to their fellow colleagues as well. Their “out of the box" way of thinking, their children- oriented backgrounds and their artistic views tend to inspire so many around our company. We often refer to ourselves as a “family" at Faber-Castell USA and we hope that Creativity for Kids products will inspire your family as well.
My child is under the specified age on the packaging can they still work with the activity?
Younger children are able to work with some activities with their parents or with adult supervision. Children should never be left unattended and parents should read all warning labels on the packaging and instructions for safety precautions.
Can I order refills or extra components for my Creativity for Kids kit?
Based on consumer feedback, refill kits are now available for a select group of Creativity for Kids products. Please visit extra supplies in the product menu for details.
My child is within the products specified age on the packaging. Is adult supervision necessary?
Although a child within a products specified age should be able to work the project, we recommend never leaving children unattended. Parents should read all instructions prior to children beginning a project and assist them if/when a grown up helper is needed.
Where are Creativity for Kids kits developed?
Product Development headquarters for Creativity for Kids is located in Cleveland, Ohio USA. Although our parent company is based in Germany and Creativity for Kids creative activity kits are now manufactured and distributed around the world, R&D or research and development for Creativity for Kids products remains true to its roots in Cleveland, Ohio USA.
What does open-ended mean?
When we refer to our products as open-ended, we mean that the project does not have a specific, predefined ending. The end results are different for each child working with our products as each child has their own unique imagination and creative side. There is no right or wrong way in the creative process when working with Creativity for Kids and Faber-Castell Premium Children’s Art Products.

I’ve run out of paint or other materials in my Creativity for Kids activity kit and cannot complete my project. Can I use other supplies?
Unless instructions specifically call for basic materials found around the home, we do not recommend using components outside of what is included in your kit as we are not able to ensure their functionality or safety. If you run into a problem and need assistance, please

Do I need to enter my child’s name on your consumer contact us page?
This field is not required by any means. It is strictly up to the parent or guardian if they would like to have a mailing or shipment sent in their child’s name. We know that children love to receive packages and how much excitement this can create.
