Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with an Albrecht Dürer® Watercolor Marker tutorial. Between Spring and Fall, my part of the world wakes up to the songs of many different birds. One of my favorites of these birds is the Eastern Bluebird and its cheerful chirp. In today’s tutorial, I am creating a postcard of an Eastern Bluebird using Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Markers.
Creativity for Life / Lesson Plan
Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with an on-the-go sketch inspiration using Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Markers and Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencils. Recently, I traveled to California for an event. The Ritz-Carlton hotel at Dana Point had staircases leading straight down to the beach. Sometimes early in the morning or later in the afternoon, I climbed the stairs and sat on the sand and sketched things I found on the beach.
I love experimenting with watercolor pencils! There are so many ways you can use them! For this project, I used the Faber-Castell Mixed Media tin and finished with some hand lettering with Pitt Artist Pens.
Ever have a birthday but no card? Here is a simple DIY version. You can also play around with different patterns and images. For this project, I used a folded piece of watercolor paper and the Faber-Castell Connector Paint set.
In this lesson plan, we combine the unique qualities of three types of pencils: Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencils, Goldfaber Color Pencils, and Faber-Castell Graphite Pencils. These pencils combined, produce an impressive effect, and offer an ease of use that makes them fun, and mastered with a little practice. Inspired by the sight of the Woodpecker, I thought about what a good pencil drawing a bird could make.
Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with an Albrecht Dürer® Watercolor marker tutorial. I once found a feather in a book I bought at a thrift shop. I figured that the previous owner of the book might have used the feather as a bookmark.
Everybody is always talking about teacher gifts, but what about fun things for teachers to do WITH their students? Here’s a fun, simple name tag to do with your kids, just in time for school starting.
Pitt Artist Pens are famous for their high quality odorless, permanent and waterproof India Ink. They come in a variety of nib types including a brush tip and produce stunning results on a variety of surfaces. In this lesson plan, we use the Pitt Artist Pen to draw on a shell; perhaps a keepsake idea from your next seaside vacation.
Hey, friends! I’m excited to share this fun lesson that I’ve started with my sweet second grade kiddos. I decided to introduce them to Charley Harper (a fave of mine) and a little guided drawing. THEY LOVED IT! They were so excited about their wee raccoons that I decided to create a lesson from their drawings. Feel free to use this lesson in your art teacherin’ and creating world...all I ask is that you give me a shout out when you share on your favorite social media. This helps folks find their way back here to enjoy the lesson as well.
Hey everyone! Getting in the back to school spirit? Here is a fun DIY activity that can be used as a bookmark or even name labels for school supplies! I used the Faber-Castell Mixed Media Kit!
It’s back to school season! 😱 While everyone is prepping with fresh supplies, backpacks, and new kicks, I’m over here trying to remind my preschooler how to write her name with something other than sidewalk chalk. This paper plate pizza craft is a fun and easy way to brush up on a few basic motor skills.
As that first day of school keeps getting closer and closer I keep asking myself if I am ready? I teach 2nd grade so I made this cute and easy “First Day of School” sign for my students to take a picture with! I used the Albrecht Durer Watercolor Markers.
Summer is winding down 😥 and it's time to prepare the kids for the next adventure. We are preparing for Kindergarten and with this milestone transition comes some new and possibly scary experiences. While my daughter is excited to ride the bus for the first time, she can't help but be a bit apprehensive about it. I am hoping this cute paper plate school bus craft will generate curiosity and excitement!
