A Valentine's Day card with art materials

Valentine's Day is on its way! Show your valentine you love them with a homemade Valentine's Day Card. Follow along as artist Mou Saha will take you step by step using watercolors, Pitt Artist Pens, Gelatos and Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencil.

Watercolors in Pans 48ct

Pitt Artist Pen® Medium - #188 Sanguine

Pitt Artist Pen® Extra Superfine - #199 Black

Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencil - #134 Crimson 

Gelatos® - Guava 

Graphite Sketch Pencils - HB

Kneadable Art Eraser - Grey 

Mixed Media paper

Trim mixed media paper to 6x9 inches. Fold in half to make 4.5 x 6 inches card.

Lightly sketch a pair of hands holding a heart using Goldfaber Graphite HB pencil.

Color the sweater brown using watercolors #178 and #190.

Color the gloves red with watercolors #118 and #126.

Color the heart with Gelatos color guava. Blend the pigment with water brush.

Once all the wet colors are dry, add rib marks to the sweater with M-tip Sanguine Pitt Artist Pen. Use more watercolors to accentuate the rib design.

Write ‘Be Mine’ with the XS-tip Black Pitt Pen on the heart. Add some shadows to the letters with Crimson Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencil #134.

Add some small marks on the heart with the watercolor #113 to finish.
