Halloween garland

Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with a tutorial on how to create an easy and fun Halloween décor with Watercolor Pans that you can create with your kids. I have compiled the materials list for you.

Recommended Art Materials:

Watercolors in Pans 48ct - #FC169748

Mixed Media paper

Scissors

Twine Tape

Folded paper

Fold 4.5 x 6 inches pieces of mixed media paper in half. Keep the creasing light. Sketch the outlines of one half of a bat, ghost, cat, candy, skull, pumpkin and other Halloween themed accents with Goldfaber HB Graphite sketch pencil.

Paper cut into holiday shapes

Cut the characters out with scissors. If you are working with kids, be sure to practice safety with scissors.

Color the pieces with the watercolors using the water brush included in the set.

Yarn

While the first layer of paint dries, prepare the hanger. Cut your desired length of twine. You can put a loop on top if you want to use a nail for hanging or you can simply tape the upper end to the wall or door.

Layer more colors and add details to the characters.

Halloween characters taped together

Once they dry, you can use tape to attach the pieces to the twine.
