Abstract Art for Beginners

Abstract Art for Beginners

Abstract art made easy!

Every style and genre of art has their own attributes that make them unique. What makes abstract art stand out from the rest is the freedom behind its conception. Abstract art is created with expression through colors, shapes, textures, and other forms. Through these non-concrete forms, artists use abstract art to express a message of emotion, character, or virtue. Abstract art is a pillar in the genre and movement of modern art. Some well-known abstract artists include Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, and Juan Gris to name a few. With such freedom of form behind the genre, abstract art is inspiring and easy for beginner artists. Faber-Castell created the 20 Minute Studio Abstract Art for Beginners as a quick and easy way to get started with creating abstract art.

The 20 Minute Studio Abstract Art for Beginners has everything an artist needs to begin creating abstract art. This kit includes: two Gelatos in Mango and Bubble Gum, gold gel paint, whipped spackle, three pigment powders in pink, yellow, and blue, a paint brush, four illustration boards, a texture card, a spatula, and a design guide. Every product included in this kit was carefully chosen to provide the best mixed-media DIY abstract art experience.

Abstract Art Design Guide

Learning how to create your own abstract art has never been this easy. Our included design guide shows artists how to use Gelatos, mix colors, tint wax spackle, and how to create texture and movement in your art pieces. This kit is also a great introduction into using our Gelatos. Gelatos are unlike any other product on the market. They are compact pigment sticks that are acid-free, water-soluble, and glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage. Use Gelatos to create a colorful base for your abstract art. Using the spatula to mix the spackle and pigment powders, give texture and dimension to your abstract art by adding the mix with the texture card. The included pigment powders come in pink, yellow, and blue but can be mixed to create multiple colors. Easily add shimmering accent designs, extra texture, or the perfect finishing touch with the gold gel paint.
