Christmas Ornament Craft for Kids with Yarn

Christmas Ornaments with Yarn

There's no place like home for the holidays! So why not make it extra special, festive and fun with these laced Christmas ornaments!

This time of year is especially busy with the holidays, the kids and their activities, work and just everyday life. It's easy to forget to sit down, breathe and remember what the Holidays are all about!

I fall into the habit of letting the kids have too much screen time while I try to get things done. I try to make up for it with dedicated and focused time with them. All they really want at this age is for me to play with them.

Crafting is my favorite way to sit down and connect. It allows us all to cultivate our creativity while exercising those fine motor skills. It also allows us to talk and discuss our days, the holidays or whatever is on their little minds.

This project is great because it is so versatile, you could use it for any holiday! It's great practice for drawing, tracing, cutting, punching, threading, tying & gluing. That's a lot of skills in 1 simple project. Also, my kids are hole punching maniacs!
