I found this butterfly inside the garage after a night of heavy rain and took a photo.

Let’s begin by making a light outline pencil sketch with the Castell 9000 Graphite 2B Pencil.

Go over the outlines and fill in the details with the Black
Extra Superfine Pitt Artist Pen.

Here’s what my inked butterfly outline looks like.

Color the butterfly with Goldfaber Aqua Watercolor Pencils.

Blend the colors with the Deluxe Water Brush.

Add a little field note to your drawing with the same Pitt Artist Pen to finish.
